The nordic gateway to Fintech in Europe

Copenhagen boasts a diverse, collaborative and fast-growing fintech community built around one of Europe’s leading fintech incubators and accelerators, Copenhagen FinTech Lab. More than 200 fintech startups in Denmark and 50 companies from more than 20 countries use the bustling atmosphere of the co- Copenhagen FinTech Lab – as their base for developing their solutions. 

Who is it for?

The program targets non-Danish fintech startups with a product or a working prototype looking to bring the solution into the Danish, Nordic or European market by using Copenhagen as the base for development and  wider expansion.

Legal help

Legal and regulatory help to enter the Danish financial system. We have close partnership with several law firms in Denmark.

Access to data

Access to data platforms/sandboxes that allows companies to do product validation and market testing. Live platform with access to 250 Nordic banks. Most public data in Denmark is also easily accessible and we can support the startups in getting access.

Access to talent

Support in sourcing the needed talent, knowledge partners and connection to universities, research and development etc. Copenhagen is a research power center in mathematics, AI and blockchain

Access to Technology partners

Our network, members and partners include companies that operate the IT infrastructure for Danish and Nordic Banks – SDC, BEC and Bankdata – and also many of the big tech companies – IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP etc.
